I'm looking for an easy way to learn the print Greek alphabet and also to get a tactile map of Greece. Last night, my boyfriend was helping me to learn the letters by creating them out of putty but we need something easier to use. At
http://www.maxiaids.com
I saw the Sewell Clip and Draw Tactile Drawing Kit with Clip-Style Drawing Board and the Sewell Clip and Draw Tactile Drawing Kit with Original Style Drawing Board. I've only seen the one that has two round screw-on fasteners that the paper goes under in person. I think it's the original. The clip one sounds easier. Can anyone varify this? Also, what's the difference between the Sewell Kit in general and the E-Z Write n Draw Clipboard Set? I've never seen the latter and it sounds the same as the other one, only the paper size seems different and I think it uses slightly different materials for the paper. Which paper is better for my goals, the light type that feels like the kind found on cigarette packs and tapes or the heavy one that feels like thermaform? They say it's foil but I've never seen foil paper. If you know of another cheap tactile imaging system that I could use, please let me know, especially if the images could be erased due to mistakes etc. Also, do you know of a place that can braille a map from a print copy that I give them? Thanks.
